Karen has worked for a number of NGOs and private sector companies to help drive purpose and progress via global communication initiatives with impact. Her career began working for PR agencies for a number of clients in the travel and property sector, before specialising in social and environmental causes and missions.
Since then, Karen has headed up the global media team at WWF International and directed communications for Procurement and Business Operations Sustainability teams at Unilever, sitting on both leadership teams in addition to the Comms and Corporate Affairs leadership team for the FMCG company.
Karen has achieved the following awards of recognition throughout her career; PRCA awards for best campaign in the sector and best in-house campaign across all sectors, finalist for the PR Week awards, CorpComms best communications by a not-for-profit and the Procurement excellence award.
